The city’s sports centre is located between the school centre and the pond.

Baumholder has a lot of places to offer athletes to practice their sporting activities. The Brühlstadion, the well-kept lawn, is mainly used for football matches, for school sports and for large events. Children and young people are happy to kick at the newly created mini-game festival, which was co-financed by the German Football Association. The club home of the VfR (Association for Lawn Sports) is located directly on the edge of the Brühlstadion and is well managed by the large sports club VfR (approx. 1400 members).
The artificial turf pitch above the Brühlstadion, maintained by the sports club, is often the venue for tournaments.
The nearby Westrichhalle is used (especially in winter) as a school sports hall and in the afternoon as a sports hall by various clubs. Here also the three tennis sand courts with the tennis club home.
