The vg Baumholder civic bus runs for our senior citizens and mobile-restricted fellow citizens. The volunteer drivers pick up the passengers at the front door and drive them to doctors, banks and shopping.
The Civic Bus complements regular services and has been running since March to doctors outside the Baumholder community.
Every Tuesday the bus leaves in the community of Baumholder by telephone.
Thursday’s trips to the doctors will be done as follows:
Every 1st Thursday of the month to Freisen and Kusel
Every 2nd Thursday of the month to Hoppstädten-Weiersbach and Birkenfeld
Every 3rd Thursday of the month after Idar-Oberstein
Every 4th Thursday of the month to St. Wendel
