Günther Theobald
born 1935 in Baumholder,
Studies and state examinations at the Landeskunstschule Mainz (free and applied graphics),
Graphic artist in a publishing house in Koblenz,
Since 1965 specialist teacher of fine arts at Göttenbach-Gymnasium,
from 1968 to 1998 at the Gymnasium an der Heinzenwies, Idar-Oberstein. Since 1964 solo exhibitions and exhibition participations with painting, graphics, objects and photography.

1969 “Poems” with own illustrations
1973 “Treibsand” poems with their own illustrations
1995 “Who I know so everything” Poems with own illustrations
The artist on his work:
“For all the diversity in the appearance of my paintings and objects, whether they look one way or another, or quite different, they have one thing in common: they are of me. They are a part of my being, a part of my self – maybe even a reflection of my soul”

Helmut Schmid
Born in 1949 in Schwetzingen and raised in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
After studying art education in Koblenz and Mainz, he was a teacher at the Baumholder secondary school.
Preferred techniques are watercolours, drawings and etchings.
He is a lecturer in etchings at the Kunstzentrum Bosener Mühle in Saarland.
He is also a spokesman for the “Working Group for Fine Arts” in the “Kunstverein Obere Nahe”.
Since 1976 exhibition participations in Rhineland-Palatinate, the Saarland, France and the USA.
