The towers of the two places of worship of the Protestant and Catholic parish esnacl characterize the silhouette of the city of Baumholder. In addition to the two large Christian churches, there are numerous smaller congregations in the city, which are mainly visited by the American military members, as well as a New Apostolic congregation.

The Catholic parish church of St. Simon and Judas Thaddäus was built from 1882-1885 in the neo-Gothic church style.
The kindergarten of the Catholic parish is located in the residential area “Rauher Biehl”.To the homepage of the Catholic Church

The Evangelical church is a simple baroque hall church, which was attached between 1748 and 1750 to the late Gothic west tower. Here you can also visit the historic silent organ.
The Evangelical parish runs a kindergarten with all-day childcare in the old town and a youth centre.
Meetings of older people take place in the parish halls of both churches.
